Standing Committees

2. Publicize Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) options and the application procedures.
3. Work with committee to secure 2011 ELI following the timeline created by MAEOPP.

3. Disseminate MAEOPP/WAEOPP scholarship information and application materials.
4. Review, evaluate, and prioritize participant applications.
5. Award WAEOPP scholarship/fellowship and communicate results to the Chapter Board and to MEF for payment.

2. Monitor compliance with the fiscal policy and procedure guide for WAEOPP.
3. Develop annual budget for the Association and submit to WAEOPP Board of Directors for approval.
4. Recommend revisions to the WAEOPP Fiscal Policies and Procedures as needed to the WAEOPP Board of Directors.
5. Develop long range plan to create new income streams for the Association.
6. Review, examine, and make recommendations regarding the Association’s financial investments.

2. Solicit TRiO Achiever nominees and publicize application procedures.
3. Select 2010 WAEOPP TRiO Achievers.
4. Communicate results to WAEOPP Board and Membership.
5. Forward WAEOPP TRiO Achiever application to MAEOPP for consideration for MAEOPP TRiO Achiever selection.
6. Coordinate information needed to take a lead in alumni relations across MAEOPP.
7. Work with Chapter President to submit a COE State Initiative Grant for purposes of increasing alumni engagement within state.

Special Committees

1. Promote study aboard initiatives through COE.
2. Explore study abroad opportunities for WAEOPP Students.
3. Support study abroad opportunities through campus programs.

1. Coordinate with Public Relations and Communications and Technology Committees for Updated information and TRiO Yearbook for use at Policy Seminar.
2. Schedule appointments and organize visits to the "Hill".
3. Coordinate with TRiO Day and State Policy Seminar Committee in organizing WI Policy Seminar.

1. Organize a Wisconsin Policy Seminar in conjunction with State TRiO Day activities in Madison.
2. Coordinate with program directors across the state to bring TRiO students, Staff, and Alumni to the State Capital in Madison for Office Visits.
3. Encourage each campus to invite state officials to campus
   to celebrate TRIO Day.
4. Coordinate with last year's committee members for assistance and to minimize problems.

1. Update and maintain WAEOPP Website.
2. Assist other committees with paper-free and web-based communications, registrations, data collections, applications, and review processes.
3. Update Contact information and group mail server on WAEOPP Website.

1. Manage, coordinate, plan, and implement all aspects associated with the 2010 WAEOPP Tri-State Conference in La Crosse, April 19 – 21, 2010.
2. Ensure that all the Board is updated on any and all changes.
3. Forward all pertinent Conference information to Technology Committee
   for immediate distribution to all Chapter members.
4. Publicize the Conference via the WAEOPP Listserv.

1. Manage all aspects of planning and implementation of the 2010 McNair/SSS Senior Retreat.
2. Continue to review all aspects of the conference including evaluation, faculty involvement, and social/networking opportunities for students.
3. Organize a director/coordinator meeting to communicate retreat goals.

1. Seek applications.
2. Manage all aspects of planning and implementation of the 2010 Student Leadership Conference.
3. Continue to review all aspects of the conference including evaluation, faculty involvement, and social/networking opportunities for students.
4. Develop a marketing plan for the SLC to include WI/MI/MN.

Ad Hoc Committees

1. Contact like associations for affiliation and communication.
2. Secure a minimum of two donations and/or sponsorships for the spring conference.
3. Form partnerships and seek support from local, state,
   and national associations, businesses, and corporate sponsors.
4. Investigate best way to brand our name.
